Title: My 10 or 13 River does not find my WAV Files.
Post by: boozercruiser on October 20, 2008, 06:02:01 pm
Hello. My Rivers (Version 12 Purchased) are not finding any of my WAV Music Files. My Media Monkey Juke Box does.

I do hope that someone can point me in the right direction to put this right.

Thank You in anticipation.

Is the wav filetype checked when you import?  Click on Advanced in the Import dialog.

Are they non-standard wav files?  How were they created?

Hi and thanks for reply. I was pretty sure that I had ticked every file type before import, however I downloaded the WavPack, cleared my library and ticked to just import WAV files and this did the trick thank you very much.

By the way, my WAV (1411 bit) files where created by a program called Sound Taxi which converts Windows Media Files
(even protected files if one is so inclined - not me though Guv.) into MP3 various quality or WAV Files.
By the way. Media Monkey found them O.K. so perhaps I just made a silly mistake.

Cheers

Boozercruiser.

Odd happenings. Because Media Center  had found my WAV files I then imported my FLAC and MP3 Files. Then on checking what I had the WAV Files where not there. I cleared the library and just scanned again for only WAV files un ticking "Ignore files previously removed from library" .

No WAV Files found. I bet this is something simple which I just do not understand.

Like I say, Media Monkey does find them.

Cheers.
