Title: Can MC be used to create ringtones?

Is there a way to use MC to say mark off a 20 (or 10, or 30, or whatever) sample of a song, and then save that off as a ringtone file, possibly with options such as fading? I think this would be a pretty nifty tool to be incorporated into MC and if done correctly would make it soooo much easier to create ringtones than I've been able to do with any other software.

If your phone plays mp3 files as ringtones, you can use the Media Editor to do exactly what you're after  ;)

wow, i feel so stupid. all this time i didn't even know media editor even existed.
