Title: do FLAC support sleeve in file or not ?

Wiki says no

MC 12 and 13 do put art in file

In this case , any risk of corruption , or problem with other players , including portable players?

The Wiki article would need to be updated. MC saves cover art according to the official FLAC specification. The specification is relatively new. I don't know what happens when FLAC files with embedded cover art are played with old programs or devices.

MC 10 used to put art in FLAC files and they are show in mc 12

FLAC has not always supported jpeg art embedded, however since FLAC 1.1.3 which was released in Nov 2006.  So it has been less than 2 years since it was supported.
