Title: "Stop after current file" query
Post by: sacraig999 on October 24, 2008, 11:11:01 am
Hi, I plan to use MC12 in a community radio station for searching and playing various tracks. Apologies if i am asking a simple question, but is it possible to make a global change so as MC will play a selected track and then stop? (as opposed to makeing the selection on a track by track basis) And is it possible to make this function apply differently to different playlists. For example, some playlist (for overnight transmission) would play all the tracks, however when we are doing live shows, we need to be able to play a single track from a different playlist. Any guidance would be appreciated. Many thanks. Stephen.

Options for playback behavior are under MC's Options/General/Behavior.

Media Center always plays exactly what is in Playing Now.  To play only a single file, load up Playing Now with only that file.  Turn off repeat if you don't want it playing over and over.

Right-click "Play" on a file is an easy way to do this.

Guys, many thanks for your quick response. I will have a go at your suggestions today.........hopefully i can find a solution as MC is a very quick way to find tracks when a listener phones in for a request.
