And not lose songs by doing that ?
-
Hi cadillac, welcome aboard.
You've not really given much detail to work with there.
You might need to expand a little on what you mean by "VARIOUS ARTISTS section"
Your question also suggests to me that you have already 'lost songs'?
If so, does 'lost' mean really lost, as in 'deleted from drive', or just lost as in 'missing from the MC library?'
Perhaps you could outline the steps you took for that to happen?
Also, does this thread (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=33255.0) help at all?

Hi marko
thank you for replying
Well, i have import playlist from file.
that file has alot's of songs, a few of them were catalogue to a "VARIOUS ARTISTS section"
in the playlist.
i want that song to be In front of themselves like most of the song and to find them by artist name.
Thank you for your help

Propably the files have "VARIOUS ARTISTS" tagged in the Album Artist field. You can change that by tagging the artist's name in the Album Artist field. I'd recommed doing that only if you have only those tracks instead of the complete albums.
If you have the complete albums you can create a view in which the plain Artist field is present as a view item instead of (or besides) the Album Artist (auto) field.
You should check the link marko posted. The thread may help you understand how MC handles the various artist albums (aka "Multiple Artists" albums) in general.
