I have a handful of smartlists that I manually export to a folder where they get picked up by Squeezecenter. Anytime I add/delete music, or change ratings, I have to re-export these. Is there any way I can automate this and just have them generated each night?

I see here there is a core command to export a playlist:

But I need the playlist ID# and I don't know how to get that. Can anyone help?

you create a smartlist and choose the syntax "playlist is any" with your choosen playlist", then press the import/export button and you will see the ID

unfortunately there will be "popups", telling you "where" and that it has been exported...
but you can do a "clean" export of all playlists with the command /MCC 20004,1
if you want the first option, there are software/schedulers that can close "popups"
and send keystrokes

I have a LOT of smartlists and playlists so exporting them all would take too long when I only really want to do about 5. Is there a way to do all in a group?
I will experiment with your suggestions later. Thanks!

I can't get it to work for the single playlist. I've searched and only found threads from people asking but no answers. Has anyone ever gotten it to work?
Is this wrong? /MCC 20003,123456879

uhm.. no. when you use it as
mc12.exe /MCC 20003,123456879

Well, it works from the run box, but not from the Scheduler built in to MC12, which is where I was testing it.
Anyway, I made a workaround by exporting all playlists on a schedule and then using another scheduled task to copy only the few I wanted to the appropriate folder where it will get picked up by SqueezeCenter.
Exporting all playlists took about 10-15 minutes, which is not as long as I expected, but still long enough that it should only be done at night when I'm not likely to be using MC because it locks up the program.
