Title: Crash Problems -- Turn off import of GIF image files

Here's more information (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=48909.msg335324#msg335324) on the permanent fix, but for now, please go to Options/Library & Folders/Import and check each import to make sure it isn't importing GIF files.  You may need to check advanced.

Also change Tools/Options/File Associations.  Under Images, uncheck the GIF filetype.

Jim,
aren't settings for import and associations two different things?
I mean, I could uncheck .gif association (so that windows explorer doesn't start MC if I double click on a gif file) but still importing them, checking .gif in Tools/Options/Library&Folders/Auto-Import Folders.

just want to confirm after new13 update today.. build thumbnals is working!!!

13 just built 410261 files with ease and no hiccups.. TY For fixen ths!!!
