Title: Tagging FLAC files - Sets Year to YYYY/MM/DD
Post by: MartinH on October 30, 2008, 05:04:04 pm
Whenever MC tags a FLAC file with a Year, it sets the field to YYYY/MM/DD instead of just YYYY.  E.g. A 1975 album is tagged as 1975/01/01.  Although it only shows as 1975 in MC can the tag be written correctly so outside of MC world other applications just see the year as expected?

Definitely a bug I'd like fixed too.  Just discovered that this incorrectly formatted year tag for FLAC files ripped in MC13 screws up other program's ability to read the tag, so now I have to go back and manually correct all the tags for FLAC files I've ripped in MC13.

6. Fixed: Updated how FLAC tagging writes the date field to be more compatible with other programs.

This fix is now available here:
