Title: Albums not sorted right
Post by: WolfWalker on November 07, 2008, 06:15:32 am
Under view I have my albums sorted like this

auto/artist        Artist      Album         Track            Name

the problem is that auto and artist is sorted right but album is not sorted right they are out off order.  I have tried alot of things.  I would like everthing to be sorted the way i have it setup.

Have you tried "sort within groups" by track number?

maybe you should tell a bit more about the view with this problem. are you talking about the upper right part or the files part underneath that? how are they showing, as pane or thumbnails etc? and do you see what it is doing wrong? a screenshot might be helpful.

edit: but start with mabes suggestion.  ;)

Even better, save the view and post the .jvi file here.
Then we can see exactly what you have.
Customize View.
Far right column in the window that comes up is 'Options'.
Expand 'saved views'.
Click on 'save this view'.
Make a note of where the file is being saved and post that file here.

Host it on a website  and then use the 'insert hyperlink' function when adding a new post.
Generally you would have personal webspace provided by your isp if nothing else.

In addition to using an external web site, this MC13 board allows small file attachments. Click the "Additional options" line when posting a reply. The attached file can be zipped if it is not in one of the allowed formats.
