I'm thinking I'm going to end up with the HTC Touch HD smartphone, which happens to be a Windows Mobile device (until I can figure out how to install Android).
In any case, the manual explicitly states that its own Media Player needs to be sync'd with a PC install of the same. I do see a few threads that would imply MC12 is able to also sync with WinMo MP, but I was hoping to find a general "how to" topic thread(?) Is is a feature better supported in MC13?
holidays' cheerios :)

Media Center can sync nicely with Windows Mobile devices.
Of course, if you do run into a snag, just post here.

Does MC sync updated audible (aa) file tags from the MC library to a Windows Mobile device, or do you end up with the embedded tags from the aa files themselves?
Do WinMo devices support MC's "use bookmarking" setting for mp3 files?
Thanks,
Larry

Hi, I am new here and have just purchased Media Center 14 (which I think is brilliant by the way).
I am trying to sync to my HTC Touch Pro but it isn't recognised in the Drive and Devices tree. I have re-detected handheld devices in the Options menu, but that hasn't worked.
I have also tried to change the phone connection settings from Active Sync to Disk Drive, and again no luck.
Any ideas?

Try a search on ActiveSync here. You'll find some other Windows Mobile device owners. I'm trying to remember how this was solved but can't. Maybe removing ActiveSync on the PC?
Does the device show up in Explorer?
