Title: How Can I Use A Playlist On Another Machine?
Post by: ken-l on December 28, 2008, 04:07:47 pm
I have MC13 on two machines. My laptop is "primary", my desktop is "secondary".
I copied my Directories/Folders/Music from the laptop to the desktop. All of which are in "My Music" on both systems.

I can't figure out how to duplicate the Playlists on my laptop to put on my desktop so that the desktop will show the same files in the Playlist as are in those on the laptop.

I usually just either share the library or restore a backup (each having it's own idiosyncricies), but Perhaps:

Top tool bar:
FILE ->> Export Playlist / FILE ->> Import Playlist

Thanks. I've tried the Export/Import, but that doesn't work.

I'd go the restore library back-up route, providing of course that the files are stored on the same drive letter ie "C:\".

Bear in mind any changes you make to one won't be reflected in the other as both will be stored on separate computers.
