Title: sorting and syncing with an iPod--not the standard question

I downloaded MC 13 (13.0.95) in the hopes of solving a long-standing problem, but with no luck. When using MC 13 to sync with an iPod, why can you ignore articles (a, an, the) when sorting by artist, but not when sorting by ALBUM?? I would really appreciate a response, if not a fix. Thanks!
