I just stumbled upon a very interesting photo organizer called Photology.
It makes search really easy. The beauty is that it makes some useful searches available without tags. It definitely lacks the powerful tagging-capabilities of MC but it would be interesting to see some of the quick searches implied into MC. Some of them could probably easily be replicated as quickies.
I especially like the UI. It seems quite intuitive. Imagine how good something like this would be with tag support!
