Title: internet in Theater View
Post by: mabes on January 01, 2009, 11:20:00 am
I've searched and I'm surprised I can't find this, but can it be done? I went into options and under the parameter added C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe but nothing happens.

You can access webpages in Theater View. Add a custom item in the "Theater View" configuration dialog. Give it a name to use in the menu, assign it as a webpage, and write the desired url you wish to access.

OK, that works. Not real well on the TV  since you can't zoom in, but at least I can check email without exiting Theater View. Thanks.

I find this to be a little buggy because web pages loaded in Theater View steal the focus of all keystrokes. I can't navigate with a remote using the arrow keys to get back to the main menu etc. Fine if you're using a mouse and keyboard I guess but....
