Just thought I'd share that I think my HTPC WAF has reached a critical turning point.

My wife came home tonight, turned the TV to the PC input, pressed the DVD button on the remote, chose a movie and it played.

Most every other time she tries to do something it doesn't turn out quite right (my fault most of the time) and I get a mouthful of !@#$%$#@!@. Not tonight. I think she is now thinking this HTPC caper is pretty cool, after all.

Useless, irrelevant post but worthy of proclaiming in my book  ;D

Not at all useless.  Something of a milestone for us, too.  Thanks for sharing the news.

... and tell your wife that the check is in the mail ...

I was laughing my butt out at the office, when I though it said "My wife is friendly now"  ::)
