Title: Custom theater view OSD
Post by: benn600 on January 11, 2009, 06:34:40 pm
I would like to see customization options added to MC that would allow users to configure what items show up in the theater view OSD.  I personally might remove Hue and Contrast, and a few other items.  Or, better yet, it could be revamped to take more of the screen and be more of a level-menu.  Select a type of option on the left and then move right to edit it more.

It can be a huge pain to scroll through the ever increasing list looking for the one you need.  It's always just back one or two so I usually end up scrolling through about the entire list.

You mean Display View rather than Theater View, right? i.e. fullscreen video playback.
I used to have the same problem, but I eventually memorised the rough order of the default menu. Still, the option to customise the OSD may not be a bad gift to us.

I always forget that it actually leaves theater view and goes to display view during playback...YES.  Precisely.
