Title: Get whole MP3 album from CDDB?

Why I can't get the track information from all tracks of a album in MP3 format with CDDB, MJ can do it only per track.

This would be a great feature, I know a program (PsychicMP3) who can do this, so it is possible.

I Am Not Sure I Understand Your Question.

Also MJ Uses Gracenote CDDB, And That Program Uses FreeDB

When You Use FreeDB you can not do a ByFile Lookup (Indiv MP3 Lookup).

What I would like to do is update the ID3 tags from CDDB from a compleet album downloaded from the internet or so.

The same as it works for audio cd's, there you can do the whole album at once, why can't this be done for mp3 files?

CDDB Works With Aduio CD's If The CD Has A TOS Like The CD's From MP3.Com It Will Work.

If The Disk Is Nothing But MP3 Files It Will Not.

Thats Just The Was Gracenote CDDB Works.

A Short Comming? Possable.

I think it would be nice if MJ can update MP3 files from CDDB, maybe in the future, it would be a great feature..

It can, if you do it manualy

Select File(s)
Right Click
Properties
Select one file (you need to do them one at a time)
Tools
Cddb Lookup

I know but that is one file at the time, that was what I tried to tell. I would like to do a whole album at once.

I wrote a program that did\does that, but i took it off the internet.

It Did A ByFile Batch LookUp.

I have a program that do just that, but it would be nice if MJ can do it also.

See the first post for that program, it works great.
