Title: Strange problem - time shifting cancelling after x minutes.
Post by: imugli on January 26, 2009, 03:44:28 pm
Hi Guys,

Have a strange prob. that has only started happening over the last few days...

When watching TV, time shifting is cancelling automatically without any request from myself.

I'll be watching TV then will lose picture for a few seconds (possibly 10 or so) then a message saying "Time shifting cancelled, viewing in normal mode".

I did set reclock to run with MC, but thinking that it may have been that have uninstalled it completely, uninstalled and re-installed MC and still have the same prob. I have the decoders set to AC3Filter for Audio and Auto for video.

Any suggestions?

I've never had this problem.  Can you see that the system is working on anything particular when it happens?

As a test, you might try a different video decoder or audio decoder.

That is strange! Where are you writing your TS buffer to? Is it possible that the disk is full?

That could quite possibly be it. Will check it out tonight. Thanks Raym.
