Title: Why does 10001 start playback of a DVD from the beginning?
Post by: Mastiff on February 05, 2009, 04:33:46 pm
Windows message 10001 should be discrete play, right? But when I use it if a DVD is paused, the DVD closes and starts playback from the beginning. But when I press the play button, it will simply start playback again. Is there something I don't understand here? It wouldn't be the first time, of course...  ;D

cant remeber that happened when i used 10001. does the same happen when you use 10000. also, do you have the bookmaking disabled, because i can remember to see the same behaviour as you as far as restarting the playback, but it restarted at the place it was paused, which is really a different experience from unpausing. ill try to remember what i was using then.  :)

It doesn't do that when I use 10000, no. But I need discreet controls because of the automation in the home theater (lights and stuff). And no, it doesn't start from the same place. It closes the DVD and starts from the beginning.
