Guys,
At the moment the only way I've found to change channels when viewing TV is by entering the assigned channel number.
Is it possible to program the Ch +/- buttons on my remote to do as they say - scroll up or down through the programmed channel numbers?
Am I missing something?
Cheers,
J

What remote are you using? I've heard of some people having problems with this using the MS remote and matching receiver. Is your remote software capable of learning the chan +/- IR codes?
EDIT: alternatively, the next/previous track buttons (CTRL+N/L) should do the trick also.

Thanks Raym.
I'm using a USBUIRT receiver with the remote I got with my TV card, no third party software. Am about to purchase a Harmony though (need to increase WAF) and don't want buttons / functions being wasted if I can help it. It's far easier to teach what a button does than explain why one does nothing :-)
I hadn't thought of the Next / Previous Track thing - seems kind of obvious now. I do have these programmed already, so may be time for me to do some reprogramming.
Thanks heaps.

Did you try teaching MC what to do with the remote? It's in options/remotes.

Thanks Jim, I'll check it out.
I bought a Harmony One remote yesterday and I've put Channel Icons on it, so it's not such a big deal now. Will definitely attempt this though.

Jim,
There is no button option for Channel +/- in the Tools > Options > Remotes that I can see. Again - am I missing something?

Next track?

Yeah, found that one. Thought there may be something else...
Also, is there a command from within MC that will send my PC to Hibernate with one click?
