Title: Windows Media Player engine no more available
Post by: Pegase64 on February 19, 2009, 04:42:55 am
Thanks for this new version of Media Center.

It seems that the option " Use Windows media Player engine for video playback when possible" is missing in DirectShow Playback options panel.

It was present in MC12 and was very useful for playing DRM licensed WMV files (VOD videos).
Does it exists a workaround somewhere ?

Another question : in Theater View / Images, we still not have a shortcut to rotate images (like R an L keys in Irfan View) . So, we still have to program a macro with Girder to use it with a remote.

Anyway, this version is an improvement in Media Center history  ;)

Apologies to all  :D

Problem solved !

Tools/Options/File Associations -> Video - WMV - File Association checked - Play with Windows Media Player

Very clever indeed and much more astucious, each type of file can be associated with differents players.

Thanks a lot for MC13.

A small correction:

Tools -> Options -> File Types
