Title: podcast audio disappears and reappears without missing a word

I have installed MC 13 on  Vista on a Pavillion DV8000. I connect to RSS stream; example "http://kqedsc01.streamguys.us:80/". The  audio stream disappears and then reappears seconds later;no portion of the stream is lost; it drops out after the "A" of "AND" it pops back on "ND". This happens seemingly at random about every 3 to 5 minuets. This happens on any RSS stream. Any suggestions?  What can I do to correct this? I did not have this problem when using MC12.
