Title: Another “Cover Art” question for DVD/Video
Post by: Randy B on March 01, 2009, 05:56:32 pm
I’m confused.  After I import my DVD/Videos into Media 13.0.119 on Vista, I then try to locate my cover art via the quick find functionality.  No luck.  My DVD/Video path is as follows:

Drive:\shared Video\Movie Name\Video_TS\files (.ifos, .bups & .vobs)

The drive is an external NAS that has been mapped to my Media Center PC.  Next, I store all my cover art that has been downloaded as follows:

Drive:\shared Video\Video Covert Art\Movie Name.jpeg   Again, an external NAS.  All of the .jpeg(s) are stored in the directory named “Video Cover Art”.

After importing the DVD/Videos, I try to add art via the Quick Find tool and nothing happens.
What am I missing?

Quick Find will check the Cover Art directory you're using if the name matches.  You can check the location in MC Options -- search for "cover art" at the top.

This may not work well for DVD's yet.

You can always do it manually by editing the tag and clicking on the blank image.

In the past, I had allways manually added art by the method you described.  Today, I thought I would try MC13 and see if I had better luck than with MC12. I had changed the cover art location in the tools-options area, but still no luck.  From my original post, should it be working?

Thanks in advance.

Covers were added for DVD's recently, so I'm not sure what to expect.

The names must match for it to work though.

This is an area where we expect to have Men Working in the not-too-distant future.  No promises...
