Title: Error during a burn

Using MJ 8.0.302, PIII 1.2 mghtz, XP Professional,

During an audio cd burn, I am getting Error message:  "A device Error occurred"  Error no. 1005.  It starts to burn and gets 80% complete before I get the error.  I have closed all background programs, and I have unchecked simultaneous decode/burning in options.

Does anyone have ideas on a fix?

download mj 8.0.331 and see if the problems are still there.

make sure ASPI is corectly installed

Is generic burner checked or unchecked

is generic burner check (grayed out)

go to help in mj and system info, copy to clip board paste here in the forum.

bad media?

is the correct size 74 mins or 80 mins selected?
