Title: Theater View: How do I copy root views across machines?

I have set up Theater View on the server, expecting I'd be able to copy "stuff" (library, files, registry) across to another machine to replicate the Theater View setup there. I can't.. why?

I've copied the library, I've copied the Theater View registry area, I've gone looking for anything else that seems relevant, and I can't find anything else, and nothing seems to have worked so far...

Help appreciated.

Hmmm... as long as you've copied

HKCU\Software\JRiver\Media Center 13\Theater View\Visible Items (English) from your server to your other machine(s), the root items should copy fine.

Are the versions of MC on bother server and client the same? That might cause an issue?

They are the same version, and I have copied that key... It works for you?

I must be missing something too obvious to notice...

What do you get when you run?

3D doesn't work on all machines.

I've moved root items around, and created some new ones. I'm not even trying for the Showroom yet.

I'm home today, so I might give it a go again if I can.

Yeah it does. If you edit the "items to show" via the GUI locally, do the settings stick?

Got it sorted, thanks for the help.

Turns out something funny was going on with the reg import, deleting the key and re-importing worked fine.
