Title: Pointing to a default location for Album Images
Post by: J-Ro on July 18, 2002, 07:52:01 pm
Ok, I have 10,000|PLS| MP3's ripped with Microsoft XP's Windows Media Player. With WMP the default is to download and store Album Images as a hidden file called folder.jpgin the folder with MP3's. So I have heaps of folders that have a file called folder.jpg.

What I am trying to figure out is this - Is there a way to tell Media Jukebox to look into the folder that the mp3 (or other audio file) resides in for the image file by default? Right now it looks like I have to go and edit the properties of each MP3. This seems like a pretty simple one, but I can't seem to be able to figure a way to do this. Maybe it is something for a future release...

Thanks

if you look in the track-info templates in the plug-in section there is one called "Tutti Frutti for Windows XP users" which will then display folder.jpg for you while playing the song.

Man, the guy that made that template is a freaking genius!
Just kidding, like J-To, I always store my images the "XP way", which is why I created a version of "Tutti Frutti" just for folks like us! ;-)
