Title: Problems when adding to playing now
Post by: clintster on March 07, 2009, 09:53:06 am
I have just upgraded to 13.0.132. I see that the following problem has still not been fixed:

If I double click a file in my library, or hit Enter, to add the selected song to Playing Now, the song is added to Playing Now but the screen then jumps to the current playing song. I then have to scroll back to the area containing the song I just added. This is extremely frustrating!

Any comments?

Check out the options and i think you will find your solution in there

Thanks for the reply. I has already reviewed the Option settings in details and couldn't find anything that would cause/prevent the display switching back to the current playing song in the Library view.

My Behavior Settings are:

Double-click: Add to Playing Now (end)
Jump on play (audio): None
Jump on play (video): None

I was guessing it was the jump on play setting, but your last post dispells that guess.

What type of view are you double-clicking in where it jumps to the playing song?  Also, is it switching to a new view or just scrolling the list you double-clicked in?

Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean by "type of view". I'm in one of my view schemes which simply lists all audio tracks.

It is simply "scrolling" the list in the current view, not switching to another view.

FYI, when I converted my library from MC12 to MC13, I reset all my views.

Good news! MC 13.0.145 still had this problem, but then I upgraded to 13.0.167 and the problem has finally gone. It was extremely irritating!
