Title: Various Artists Albums

These are display by each artist having an album if the artist is named in the artist block instead of "various artists.  Can this be change so one album shows each individual artist instead of having multiple albums with a singe artist in it?   Clear as mud, huh

Set your view to use Album Artist (Auto) and not Artist??

This should collapse multi artist albums into one album.

Here's links to the rules MC uses for Album Artist (auto) (http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/Using_Album_Artist_and_Album_Artist_(Auto)) and multiple artist albums (http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/index.php/Multiple_Artist_Albums).

The main thing is that a multiple artist album must have all of its files in its own individual directory for the Album Artist (auto) feature to work.  MC likes it much better if each CD is in its own directory.

Alternatively you can select all of the tracks for a multiple artist album and manually type in a generic name like "Various Artists" in the Album Artist tag field.
