Title: No TV Sound from Hauppauge Tuner

Despite following all of the suggestions found in http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=51004.0, I can't get any sound when playing TV.
The most intuitive setup (to choose Hauppauge Audio Capture from the context menu "TV Options - Devices" while playing TV not only produces no sound, but gets lost immediately.  If I stop and restart TV, it is set back to SB Live!.  I have tried several of the "uses cable" options, als without any improvement.  None of the available settings here make any sense, however.  There is a cable attached to the Hauppauge tuner card, but this is for routing in audio from external sources (e.g. VCR), not for outputting tuner audio.  I have taken a dump of the filter configuration I got while playing TV, but don't find a way to attach a file to this message.

Please tell me what tuner model you use.

While you play a channel, right-click and choose "DirectShow Filters"->"Copy graph info to clipboard".  Paste the result here.

Tuner model is Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1300 MCE (also in my signature).  Here's the graph.

P.S. As long as you're looking at the filter graph, the video quality is not very convincing either.  Maybe you can see somthing suspicious.

The file is large, and I didn't find any controls in the forum for attaching or uploading, so I will mail it.
BTW, when playing TV, which seems to be always 4:3, ther is a multicolored vertical stripe to thE right of the picture.
I already checked "Crop edges to remove visual noise..."
