Hi,
I just tried upgrading to MC 13 from 12. Worked just fine, but.... I really don't want to tweak all the settings again which I had in MC 12. Is there a way to export/import the stuff from the registry or wherever?
Apparantly just renaming the MC12-key in the register to MC13 (replacing the just made MC13 key, that is) did not do the trick.
Help would be much appreciated.

Bump.
Anyone?

Did you allow MC to convert your library? You could try restoring in MC13 from an MC12 backup.

Thanks for your reply, Jim. I did let MC convert my library. But I'm talking about the settings. For instance: my saved View-Layouts, Favorites; Top Toolbar View etc.
That did not come with the conversion.

Bump again.
Jim or whoever: any other suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Bummer..
Thanks, Gap, anyhow. Hopefully it will be integrated somewhere somehow in a new version.

You might try some of the suggestions mentioned here (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=48833.0)

Thanks! I'll give it a go.

Another vote for this to be included in an upcoming release. It's a major PITA to have to recreate all one's preferences, views, etc, when upgrading to a new release, and the average user isn't going to go digging through support forums and wikis to find out how to do something that the product should do automatically as part of the installation process.
If Firefox can automatically import preferences, etc, from other browsers, then MC should be able to import preferences from earlier versions of itself.
