Title: I install the update..but it dont work

OK I spent the 20.00 to upgrade , and when I  open it up it says I have 26 days left in the trial.......is there a registration code or what? It takes you to a payement page then says nothing.
??

You can find instructions about licensing here:

You'll need to use the license restore process and enter your new code.

The registration code should have been sent to your email address.  Check your spam filter, and make sure emails from jriver are not blocked.

If you still do not have it, go to the Restore Page (https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi) and enter your email address.

No, it is not in my spam filter and when I go to get my code..they keep sending me the old code over and over again. I use the same email as the initial purchase.  So I tried to do a reinstall with that code and I keep losing restores because of it.   I checked paypal and it went through so the problems not there.

Just for the record, the info that finally made a difference was available in the link Matt gave you above.
