Title: Direct output option

Runing MJ under vista on my computer, one of direct ouput device options is SPDIF (which is nice since winodws sounds is not outputed to stereo system). If I run MJ under xp on the same computer the SPDIF device is not shown as an option in direct output window. Is there a way to get xp to show spdif as an output device option ?

The list of devices will come from your installed soundcards.  You might try updating soundcard drivers.

You could also use ASIO (or WASAPI on Vista) for more direct communication with the hardware.
