Title: Paste to other applications casuses MC to crash

help ! every time i paste text from media center to any other application, media center crashes- any ideas ?

Something at the OS level or near it isn't working.  Virus checker, for example.

thanks jim- might be overdue for a reformat. i suspect that will fix - computer running like a slug so overdue !
