Having just bought a combo DVD/CD-R drive, I've done my first burn of a compilation from within MJ. It all went very smoothly. But when I stuck the CD back in, MJ tried to look it up on the CDDB, failed of course and called the tracks
Track 01
Track 02
etc.
My burner (an LG GCC-4120B) doesn't seem to support CD-text or at least I can't see an option for it.
Given that MJ burnt the CD itself, couldn't it automatically create an entry for it in the CD & DVD section of Media Lib? I could give myself as the Album Artist and an album name like "Compilation 1". That way, I could look back over previous compilations when creating a new one and avoid duplicates.

Well, I use Feurio to create all my audio CD's, and it does add an entry to the cdplayer.ini file. I think it's odd that MJ does not. Luckily, my TDK burner supports CD-Text writing.

Yeah, but it's not on the GoldenHawk list so I have to use the Generic driver. No CD-text for me.
