I've noticed for the past several weeks that MC has been crashing with a Windows exception error several times a day. I've been through the logs and don't see anything listed that would lead me to the cause. The other day I checked the Windows Application log and there was a MC error stating that vis_studio.dll had caused the error. This makes some sense because I like to activate differentvisualizations and track info from time to time. The current visualization has been set to cycle all visualizations. I can't tell if there is a particular visualization that causes the crash or if it is more random than that. A few days ago I switched to a track info template and have not seen the error since.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any ideas where I can look to help identify the issue better?

Make sure you're running the latest version of Media Center 13. This sounds like a problem that was fixed a few months back.
If you're already running the latest, use it for a few days without visualizations to see if this is the issue for certain.
Let us know what you find. Thanks.

I'm running build 145.

Are you using the Playing Now plugin? I was getting similar random crashes until I removed it...
Cheers,
Mark

By the looks of it, seems it crashed using the visualization "ballfly melts" ?

Yes, that's what I thought too. I removed the BallFly Melts from the folder and its been running for over an hour. I'll keep testing.
