Title: MP3 file won't import
Post by: DiiPii on April 14, 2009, 12:23:44 pm
I have an MP3 file that MC13 won't import. I can play it in VLC and WMP so am stumped as to why MC13 won't import it. Any ideas ?

Thanks for the file.  It starts with almost a megabyte of binary 0's, with no header.

That's not a good thing, but we'll make a coming Media Center better skip MP3 files with leading 0's regardless.

Here's the history entry:
Changed: The MP3 parser will accept MP3 files with up to a megabyte of binary 0's before the first frame of audio data.

Egads!  How does something like that even happen?  Partially wiped with an Eraser-like program?
