In build 13.0.151, you can now select anything other than cover art to display (3D Visualization, Track Info, Visualizations) and then an attached display will appear in Playing Now. I'm not sure if my suggestion was used, but I requested this back in May of 2007 (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=40744.msg277863#msg277863).
I also wrote, "It would be really neat if the Mini View (Slim Skin) could be integrated into Theater View or displayed simultaneously with Theater View as a detached display. This would allow me to customize a display for track info that I position somewhere on the screen. Once positioned, it would display on each Theater View page or an option could be provided as to which pages have Mini View overlayed on top." I now use Paradigm Essence as my Mini View, but I think this concept would still be a neat idea. I would also like to have weather, time, RSS feeds, etc. available in a display. You could then choose to have the weather, time, track info, etc. appear on some or all Theater View pages.
