Title: Upgrading From Older Version Questions
Post by: Thaum on April 17, 2009, 05:24:31 pm
I Purchased MediaCenter years ago, but haven't used it in many years.  I think it was version 8, but I am not certain.  I think I even paid to upgrade it once, but right after my hard drive froze and I never bothered trying to install or use it after.

How do I find out what version I had?

I would like to upgrade for the discounted price, and really try using it again, but I also do not want to have to install an older version to upgrade from.  We all know that every installation (I'm assuming from crappy programming on the programmers part) pollutes your system (registry, dll's, Etc) with crap.  Therefore, if I upgrade, I only want to install the newest version.

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Tom
