Title: Multiple 3D views - bug?
Post by: MahlerFreak on April 18, 2009, 11:10:31 am
If I create a new 3D audio view, I notice that it often does not display correctly when selected from the audio tree. In fact, after adding the new 3D view, selecting the default 3D view then doesn't display correctly most of the time, either - it will (seemingly arbitrarily) display the start page, or panes, or album view. However, if I open a new tab with the start view, switch to that tab, then back to the tab with the (supposed) 3D view, it then displays correctly. It would be great to get this fixed - the 3D view is perfect for creating filtered views of our music library for the rest of the family to use, but the switching tabs workaround is too confusing for them.

While I'm at it, an enhancement request: for me personally, the 3D view needs a way to select a subset of the tracks in the album in order to be really useful.

We haven't heard this one before.  I'm guessing, but you might try updating your video driver to the latest.
