Title: Paint problems
Post by: Mike Noe on April 29, 2009, 05:40:12 pm
I'm finally able to reproduce (at least one) the instance of the repainting problem.

Start a CD rip
Then start a video playing on the secondary monitor
While it's playing, right click and "Detach Display"
You can then do whatever with MC on the primary display
Then, minimize MC and wait for the CD rip to finish (Minimize to tray)
When the rip finishes, restore MC.
The pane/detail area will be whatever was behind MC (not processing WM_PAINT?)

Mike,
There are some Windows paint issues.  Here's a screenshot just now from Vista, with no MC running.  My desktop is showing through...it was worse 10 seconds earlier.

I've been reporting this for a while now.  Very easy to reproduce.

Okay, good, not just my setup.

It seems to happen most often when MC is minimized and then, perhaps in another thread, something finishes (like CD rip) and presents a dialog or a msg in the AW.
