I'm looking to buy a 32" Television. The ones I'm looking at seem to come with HDMI sockets. I currently have an ATI card Radeon 1350 with DVI output.
Can I just buy some form of splitter so that I can keep my screen on one, and the TV on the other, and then convert it to HDMI?
Or am I better off replacing with a new graphics card with both HDMI and DVI built in. If so could someone suggest something fairly cheap which is at least as powerful as the above Radeon?
Cheers :)

Radeon HD 4550's can be had for about $40.

Thanks for the suggestion DP, I think I'm going to try one of these.

Unfortunately the 4550's are around £40 over here, and that seems a lot of money if my current graphics card might do the job!
My theory is it should work. I'll keep people updated!
