Hi all,
For the last few builds I have been seeing an out of memory error.
I use the TV to record programs and so leave MC running. Below is a screen shot of the error.

I have turned on logging and can send in the file if required...
I will upgrade to ver 13.170 but I don't think this will fix the error...

We need to figure out what part of the program is causing the memory problem, or what it's doing when the problem happens.
Watch the memory usage in 'Task Manager' and see if you can see it grow out of control when using a specific feature (like when recording starts, or you start audio playback, etc.)
If you have a crash log, please email it to logs at jriver dot com.
Thanks.

Hi Matt,
Looks like the error is in the TV recording. I set it to record a 3 hour program and the memory usage has gone from 33Mb to 102Mb and MC is now unresponsive. I have a twin tuner setup here so will do a little more investigation. But I believe it is to do with the length of the recording or multiple simultaneous recordings back to back.

102 MB during TV recording isn't too bad. I'm guessing some action will cause it to spike right over 1 GB. It could be the TV tuner driver, a filter used for television, or something else entirely.
Thanks, and let us know if you learn anything more.
