Title: how do I bypass proxy server?

i have setup my internet settings (vista) to use a local proxy (another box at home). BUT I want jrmc to bypass it. I looked at the settings but cannot find what I'm looking for. can you please help?

I stumbled upon this many moon ago and JR added it to a wicki somewhere. I'm not sure if it is still the case but MC used to use the internet explorer LAN settings (internet connections). If you put an exception to not use the proxy for the MC server it should solve your problem.
