Title: Task Bar left visible in Theater View and Display View
Post by: jacky on June 09, 2009, 10:58:00 pm
Hi, in Theater view or Display view, the task bar is left visible.  However, on rare occasions, the Task Bar does hide properly.

Is anyone also having this problem?  I would appreciate if this could be remedied because it is a little distracting.

Environment:
Vista x64 Ultimate

Here here.  I sometimes see the same thing.  Haven't looked into it though.

Maybe you have the Taskbar set to "always on top".

Yep but full screen apps should ontopodize themselves over it anyway.

I have this problem quite frequently too.  Clicking on the taskbar and then back onto MC solves it however.

It may be a Windows bug.  There are definitely others.

Another possibility is the taskbar settings for haali or ffdshow.  Turn them off.

No, with "Autohide taskbar" though hidden, it leaves a white line at the bottom of the screen.
Does not happen on my laptop though. Same version of MC (171), but with XP pro.

I also have this issue on occassion. I recently installed Vista Ultimate but I can't swear that's when it started happening.I have to click the taskbar and then click MC to get MC full screen.
