i should have asked a long time ago - if i click do not show this message again?? what are the ramifications?
does Media Center just do whatever it is [e.g. delete file] automatically ? - or not?

Usually it means what it says. The displayed message does not appear anymore and whatever is about to happen next will happen directly in the future.

"Options > General > Advanced > Reset all configuration messages..."  can restore the disabled warnings.

thanks heaps- i guess it was obvious but thought i would ask anyhow.
