Look like the Media Jukebox French are somewhere on the beach,montains,country side and not at home

I was this evening  at the french ambassy for the party.It is the first time.I am not mad about this kind of things,but some friends really f m u about to come.

It was strange,more than a thousand frenchs in a room.I do not know how to say it.I did not feel i was part of them,i did not feel to belong to they country.I had no interest in what they said,they spoke about-i do not say that it was of no interest-Kind of 'why i am here,i do not care about anything  here"

in fact really 'like a rolling stones'.French is my culture and mother tongue ,but i do not feel french.Not 100% i mean.I do not miss France.Do not know exactly ,but i must had spent allmost half of my life outside France,and this since 18 years old.Not a half but more than a third.
Of cause i belong to here.But not born here,no school here,no 3 years in the army[only 3 months].I do not have the local culture,i do not really master the language
Born in Bordeaux,but by accident.No roots there.King of foreigner to the natives
Strange enougth,the only place i feel kind of roots is in spain.I do not speak spanish,people there do not speak that much english.Because of it my longer stay in Spain was a summerlong.
Yes we have spanish roots,but ,mind you,my mother family left Spain...500 years ago

I do not cry,just telling few things who can be interesting to some

It could hardly be more interesting.  Thanks.

Why do we feel rooted?  Hard to say.  We are becoming more of a melange each generation.  

I have roots all over the place, and some of them I like, some I don't.

I do not like "cocktail parties" with 1000 people of any sort in a room.  

J'etudie pendant deux mois a l'Alliance Francaise.  Je ne suis pas une morceau mieux a Francaise, mais j'ai deux ou trois nouveaux amis.  Ca suffit.

And music, that's another matter.  All together a very big party.
