What I've noticed is that every time I install the latest build of JRiver, it makes it so that my photos are no longer visible in Vista Media Center. It also makes it so that the thumbnails for my recorded tv shows in VMC disappear. It took me a while to figure out why this was happening, but it can definitely be attributed to a JRiver Media Center install. Ultimately, I think it's just making it so that .JPG files aren't recognized by VMC. I found a fix for it, but it's still somewhat of an inconvenience to have to do it every time I install the latest JR MC build.
Thanks

Check your file associations for jpg. Try a google search for help on how.
MC doesn't take them by default unless you tell it to.
