Title: Skin manager error

Hoi,

I just installed MC13 and want to change the look but when i download skins.
I see the download, but i don't see eniting in the skin manager.

when i  then download the skin file, i get a mjp file but can't import it.
sometimes I see a new folder in the ...Skins folders with the name of the skin but the are empty.

Can someone tem me how to import / change the skins?

I'm using MC13.0.170 in portable setup on a vista pc.

i guess the problem is using a portable install. it means you also have a normal install somewhere. you can download skins there and copy them to the megaskin map from the portable install (i guess that would work). also you could download some skins from this forum from people who posted them with a zip file. unzip that folder and put it in the megaskins folder.

I only have the portable version. no normal install.

when i download the skins i get always an .MJP file and i can't / don't know how import them.

download the .mjp file open it in notepad, find and copy the zip.url into your browser, download the zip file, extract and copy it to relevant MC portable folder..

it should work
