Title: New Zealand TV
Post by: goodins on July 10, 2009, 05:44:43 pm
I have started to look again at using DVB-T with Media Center 13/14, ,I have no problem receiving TV in Windows media Centre , DVBViewer and GB-PVR, but I would prefer to use your programme for Television because I find it great for Music, however I am still having the same problem scanning for tv channels in Windows 7 as I did on xp, the programme just crashes, I am using a Hauppuage HVR-2200, it will sometimes find TV3 which has ac3 audio as opposed to AAC-HE on the other channels, but even then will only provide a black screen. There has been no improvement in version 14 , so I am very loath to purchase the upgrade till the television side of the programme works.

The file "DVB Frequencies.xml" needs to have a frequency table in it for your country.  I wonder if it should be similar to that of Australia.  If you can find the information about the frequencies used in your country, you can add that to the file.  The first table in the file is for Australia, you can try creating one for New Zealand in the same way.

I have made my own frequency table for my local transmitter,  and am confident that is correct. I have realised I should post logs, I will post these soon.

I am baffled.

0041200: 3032: TV: CMPEG2SectionsAndTablesParser::GetChannels:     NID: 13313, TSID: 28, ONID: 8746, # of services: 6

Six channels were reported here, but when trying to enumerate them, none was found.

Please try expanding the frequency table:
