Your best bet is to enable logging (Help -> Logging -> Output to a log file).

All well and good, but then do what with it, when I posted last week that MC14 was crashing on import for me, all I got was silence
here I think (maybe) is my log, but what does it mean?, also just to ask another question, I have fully uninstalled mc13 and mc14, and upon reinstall they both come back as registered copies, so does that mean they are not being unistalled properly  ?

Please send a copy of the PSD file that causes the crash to matt at jriver dot com.

Version 14 added support for PSD files, and we're still working out some kinks.

Thanks.
